Leigh writes for stage, screen, audio, and print. She spent two years as a regular contributor to the satirical online publication, Reductress, and has been a contributing writer on multiple seasons of The Story Pirates podcast. Her original pilot, Just Be: an Emo Bromance (co-authored by Amy Dellagiarino) was named a semi-finalist in SeriesFest’s inaugural comedy pilot competition. Her solo show, Splendid Devils, was hailed as “powerhouse writing” (by Roundabout Theatre Co’s Director of Education) and “a shimmering, deft, and commanding feat” (Joanna Simmons, director). Her work combines poetic lyricism, unpredictable dialogue, and wry humor.
